PLEASE JOIN US AT BAGUA THIS COMING WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1ST @ BAGUA 4736 N.E. 2nd AVE AT 7: 30 PM TO PLANT THE SEED FOR THE GEMINI NEW MOON THAT WILL BE TAKING PLACE THAT AFTERNOON AT 5:03 PM. COST IS $20.00.
This will be presented by local astrologer Mark Springle who I’ve known from The SFAA and who is currently a board member. Mark has done several presentations here and around the country and I’m excited to have him come to Bagua to share his astrological experience and insights concernig the important eclipse season that is now begining. See his writing and website below. We will have a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse two weeks after this Solar Eclipse and another Solar Eclipse at the Cancer New Moon one month from now. This next month will imprint ecliptic fingerprints on us all, especially if you have mutable planets at 12 and 25 degrees of Mutable signs and 9 degrees of Cardinal signs. Send your chart info to Mark to find out at: markspringle@gmail.com. The first 10 who respond, or as time will allow, will have their charts looked at. I Hope to see you as this cycle takes it’s initial mercurial breadth next Wednesday! Love, Lynne Hyde Gemini Solar Eclipse 2011 As living, conscious beings, we are continually presented with opportunities to grow and discover ever more subtle aspects of our own personal divinity and subsequently, our connections to the greater divinity of the cosmos. Astrology is a tool which we can use to help us understand this connection. Eclipses are important markers along the path of development for our consciousness. A solar eclipse is often referred to as an invitation to step into a richer future, whereas a lunar eclipse is often a demand to release the past. On June 1, 2011, the second of four solar eclipses for the year will occur at 12 degrees of Gemini. Gemini rules communication and siblings. The planet we associate with Gemini is Mercury. Mercury is the god who acted as the middle-man in the negotiations between Hades (Pluto) and Zeus (Jupiter) for the release of Persephone. The ability of Mercury to travel from the Heavens to the Underworld was unique in Greek mythology, no other being was able to make this transition. The basics of the myth shed light on the importance of this eclipse for our community. Just recently, Jupiter squared Pluto, bringing the rebellions in the Middle East front and center. Just as in the ancient lore, the gods are fighting for dominion over the earth. Perhaps on a personal level, battles are raging, as well. This eclipse presents a time to work with our brethren, to communicate, to bring understanding out of chaos. Marc Edmond Jones notes the keyword for this degree is GROWTH. We might do well to ask ourselves how we can grow ourselves and promote growth in our community by using our unique ability to develop our perspective in such a way that we can find win-win solutions for ourselves and our brethren, even if - or despite the fact that - we all want the same thing. visit Mark at www.markspringle.com |
